Description

4–18 mm Obsidian round beads — volcanic glass, glossy and fully opaque. Cut and polished on a lathe into an even strand, ready to string as it arrives.

In our wholesale catalogue this design is stocked in 8 sizes — 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm — at 80cm per strand. The ten-strand minimum can be mixed across sizes and stones, so a shop can test the whole range without committing to one diameter.

Volcanic glass at hardness 5–5.5; it chips rather than scratches, so store strands separately and never use an ultrasonic cleaner.
