Rutilated Quartz chips — clear quartz shot through with fine mineral needles. These are tumbled small pieces sold by the full strand, used for resin work, inlay, aquarium decoration and as filler between larger beads.

In our wholesale catalogue this strand is stocked single-size at 8 mm, 80cm per strand. The ten-strand minimum can be mixed across sizes and stones, so a shop can build an order around what actually sells.

Hardness 7; the needles sit inside the stone, so clean gently and avoid knocks on hard surfaces.
